Carmen was among the first USM students when the campus opened in 1989. She earned her A.A. in Business Administration, then took several other management courses as she worked her way to a senior managerial position at TelEm Group of Companies. She is now Head of Procurement and Facilities there.

"USM is a beautiful place to start if you are continuing in the working field or planning to travel for continued education," Carmen says.
She has worked at local telecom company for nearly three decades but says she would be willing to try something new if the right opportunity presents itself
"After years of working within the Telecom Industry, Should an exciting opportunity arrive to change courses I would be very much interested," Carmen says.
"USM can serve as a launching pad for your success, granting you access to opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach," Carmen says.
