My long term plans for my career include working for a few more years as an elementary school, and then hopefully doing a masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
USM provided me with the foundations and skills that I needed to be an educator. USM was the first step in providing me with what I needed to be a teacher. It allowed me to be a certified FBE teacher, making me more qualifies and competitive in the teaching field. It provided me with hands-on experiences of being around students and being in a classroom observing and teaching them. By being in a classroom, I could see the challenges first hand and be prepared for the future challenges yet to come and succeed in them.
