« Studying at USM has been rewarding in more ways than one. I was able to stay in the comfort of my home/island, receive a Bachelor’s degree, and work to gain practical skills that went hand in hand with the theoretical knowledge the many caring professors imparted.
This degree took dedication, time management, patience, and encouragement from peers and family members, as it wasn’t easy. To anyone aspiring to become a teacher, please make sure you love children and that this profession is really for you. Some days are tougher than others, but overall, it is a very rewarding experience having the change (and challenge) to influence and mold young minds and bring out the best in them. They sometimes help to bring out the best in you! »
