UNESCO Secretary General Marcellia Henry is a proud alumna of USM of the Class of 1995.

Marcellia has earned two more degrees since graduating with her associate's from USM, and she remains a proud and passionate community advocate, serving with others who try to better the island community. She is also UNESCO Secretary General.

“The most exceptional part of my USM journey would be having the opportunity to remain on St. Maarten, work and obtain a college degree at the same time,” Marcellia says.

“USM offers affordable and top quality education to those who choose to stay on island, start a new career, or improve your skills.”

Marcellia says, "USM provided me with the foundational skills to excel and achieve a tertiary degree."
