"My long-term plans for my IT career involve continuously expanding my technical expertise and leadership skills. I aim to stay at the forefront of technological advancements by pursuing certifications and training in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence," Ramzan says.

"Reflecting on my time at the University of St. Martin, I can confidently say that USM provided a solid foundation that significantly advanced my career. I completed all my Math, English, and humanities courses at USM before transferring to Monroe College to pursue a degree in Information Technology. As the first college I attended, USM set the standard for the level of work expected in higher education, and I was able to meet and, in some cases, exceed those expectations," Ramzan says.

"USM is a local college offering affordable tuition compared to international schools. It should be considered a first choice rather than a last resort. The highly qualified teachers at USM tailor your tertiary education to the context of St. Maarten.
My fondest memories of USM revolve around the classes. Many of them encouraged debates, spirited discussions, and presentations, allowing me to learn from both fellow students and instructors.
The most exceptional part of my USM journey was balancing my studies while working two jobs. This experience taught me invaluable time management skills and resilience."
