She earned two master's degrees from Monroe College recently following her earning her bachelor's degree at Johnson & Wales University. She says USM helped her make those pivotal steps in her education that have set her up for success in her career.
"USM was the building block/ stepping stone that I needed to begin my academic career," Sharina says.
USM can help undecided students orient themselves to possible career paths and better strategize the ways to achieve their successes. "Your goals and aspirations are only possible if you make the first step. Our path in life is not always clear at first, especially as a young adult trying to balance life and moving forward in life. USM is the perfect institution to allow you to gain a college experience without having to leave home, which allows you time to figure out your next steps in life," Sharina says.
She has ambitions to earn a fifth degree and serve as a lead medical officer. "I would hope to manage and operate a medical facility where urgent care and paramedical services are offered," Sharina says.
