Tione enrolled and completed both associates and bachelor's degrees in business at USM while being a working student. She said determination helped her overcome adversity in her journey.

She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Business Information Management in 2014 and Associates of Arts in Business with Concentration in Business Management in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2018.
Tione learned several important skills from her time at USM., "Team building, practice and/or improve work-life balance, build a strong reputation at work, enforce greater and better communication skills, travel globally, develop a strategically marketing and sales skills, brand promotion," she says.
Tione says resilience is instrumental in succeeding in school and in life. Tione says, "It's important to create a goal and stay focus while trying to achieve your goal. If the goal is not achievable in the specified duration do not give up. Give it a next chance and try again up you become successful."
