Graduated at USM: B.A. Elementary Education
Zamada Solomon graduated from USM in 2012 with a degree in education, got to work in the St. Maarten school system and even got her graduate degree.

For Zamada, studying at USM made her a more resilient student able to take on the challenges of the more education and then applying that education to her career. Zamada says, "USM was my starting point! It was where I gain all my confidence and grass-root knowledge to move forward into pursuing graduate studies."
Zamada says that studying close to home presents numerous advantages for students. She says, "It’s very liberal to have the insights of studying locally before traversing outward. This helps in the preparation for the greater good."
During her time at USM, she served as the President of the Student Government Association.
She was a working educator and student as well as an active member of student association.
"I actually was a classroom teacher whilst doing my studies. I was hired based on my professionalism. It was a knack that paved the way for this professional career."
