Coming up soon at USM: A conversation on female empowerment through expanding economic options for women.

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, USM will be screening a short documentary on campus about African women who gain freedom through agroecology and by embracing feminism.

Experts Delna Buhariwalla and Samantha Blostein, both from Canada, will discuss their work in empowering women and then participate in a panel discussion featuring USM Dean of Academic Affairs @dr.gale_t_c_rigobert and Victim Support Services Director Cassandra Richardson moderators.

Join us on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Lecture Hall 202 on the USM campus.
