March 25, 2024

Discover how we're bringing water to the heart of climate adaptation and accelerating change for a sustainable future.
This week, in Rotterdam, USM is proudly represented within the Sint Maarten delegation at the International Panel on Deltas, Coastal Areas and Islands (IPDC) conference. Leading the delegation are VROMI policy advisors Ildiko Gilders and Raitza Narain.

Joining them from the scientific community are USM President, Prof. Dr. Antonio Carmona Báez, and Research Coordinator, Drs. Raymond Jessurun.
The IPDC is dedicated to placing water at the forefront of climate adaptation efforts. It serves as an essential international platform for improving lives, livelihoods, and ecosystems within deltas, coastal areas, and islands.

The IPDC achieves this by supporting the implementation of integrated climate adaptation strategies and accelerating climate action.
