A.A. General Study
The Associate of Arts degree program in General Liberal Arts allows students to acquire the necessary skills, concepts, and experience to continue their academic careers in other disciplines or to gain employment in a wide variety of positions.


The General Liberal Arts program at USM offers a blend of courses in humanities, mathematics, natural and social sciences, and linguistics needed to sharpen communication and critical thinking skills.


Students have the opportunity to explore their areas of interest by selecting the courses according to their study or career preferences.


Students can then continue an academic career in other disciplines such as psychology, IT/software, nursing, architecture, mathematics, medicine, journalism, communication, marketing, political science, social work, architecture, to name a few.
